
AltiGen Announces MaxMobile Server 2011
AltiGen Communications, Inc., the leading provider of innovative Unified Communications solutions for enterprises and service providers, today announced it will be showcasing MaxMobile Server 2011 for Lync, a new unified mobile convergence solution for Microsoft Lync Server 2010 at Microsoft's 2011 Worldwide Partner Conference in Los Angeles, California.
MaxMobile Server 2011 for Lync is a then generation mobile convergence solution that extends Microsoft Lync Client features just as enterprise voice, instant messaging, and presence to mobile devices. Enabling smartphones running the MaxMobile client application to register to the Lync Server as a native endpoint, MaxMobile makes it easy to use common Lync features, keeping the user connected to the corporate environment and making communication more collaborative, engaging, and accessible.
The Lync Enterprise Voice call controls
MaxMobile provides all of the Lync Enterprise Voice call controls and Single Number Reach; extension & external dialing, conference, transfer, and hold. Users as well have access to the Lync Directory and Favorites screens to initiate communications with saved contacts.
