
Amnet Telecommunications Upgrades to Next-Gen OSS With Sigma Systems
Sigma Systems, an industry leader in Advanced IP Service Fulfillment solutions, and Amnet, a cable and broadband provider with operations in Costa Rica, Honduras and El Salvador, announced today that Amnet will upgrade its Operational Support System (OSS) environment with Sigma Systems' Device Provisioning Manager. Amnet has approximately 534,000 revenue generating units (RGUs) across Central America. Amnet was acquired by Millicom (NASDAQ: MICC) in 2008, and operates as part of Millicom's Tigo family of operators, which is rapidly growing in both cable and broadband subscribers throughout the Latin America region.
