
Aspect Appoints Executives to Lead Product Strategy and Execution
Aspect, a leading provider of customer contact and Microsoft platform solutions, today announced the appointments of Michael Regan as senior vice president of engineering and research, Michael Ely as vice president of research, and Serge Hyppolite as vice president of product management. At the same time, these individuals will bring the at once wave of technology and thought leadership to the Aspect solutions roadmap.
As senior vice president of engineering and innovation, Michael Regan will lead the Aspect innovation and development team, employing his contact center experience and intimate understanding of enterprise technologies, just as unified communications and collaboration, to drive the Aspect product roadmap execution. Earlier, Regan served as Aspect vice president of development, where he was integral to product delivery in support of the Aspect global strategic alliance with Microsoft. His 25-year background of industry success includes positions with Blue Note Networks, which Aspect acquired in 2008, Ciena Corporation, WaveSmith Networks, Octave Communications and Unisphere Networks.
As vice president of innovation, Michael Ely will explore new technologies to develop future products and solutions, leveraging his history of technology with Aspect and his tight working relationship with Microsoft on applying its technologies to the Aspect solution set. A key member of the Aspect innovation leadership team since 2000, Ely most recently served as director of systems architecture, leading a team responsible for architecture considerations for all Aspect products, including advanced development and technology research. He has more than ten years of experience defining and developing Voice over IP solutions for contact centers, joining Aspect from PakNetX.
As vice president of product management, Serge Hyppolite will lead the team that defines Aspect solutions and roadmap based on customer needs and the vision Aspect has set forth to the market. Hyppolite joined Aspect in 2002, with the acquisition of CELLIT, and most recently served as director of product management. He will continue to be responsible for the Aspect product portfolio lifecycle and for managing product enhancements through innovation, analysis, customer engagement, competitive intelligence and field communication. Hyppolite has held various engineering and global marketing positions with CELLIT, Lucent, AT&T and Nortel.
