Atmos Energy Corporation, at the same time with its subsidiaries, engages in the natural gas distribution, transmission, and storage businesses in the United States. CRWE earlier has entered into a joint venture to deploy VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) research delivering voice, video and data services to residential and commercial clients. The joint venture company is Crown Tele Services Inc. which was a wholly-owned subsidiary of CRWE will own the remaining fifty percent interest in the joint venture.

According to ABI Technology, the latest global business VoIP services forecasts show that the value of the overall market, which includes VoIP integrated access, SIP trunking, hosted IP-PBX (Private -Automatic- Branch Exchange)/IP Centrex and managed IP-PBX (Private -Automatic- Branch Exchange) services, is set to double over the then and there five years, to exceed $20 billion by 2015.

According to IBISWorld Industry Reports, Digital voice will be the fastest growing U.S. industry in the then five years. Voice over Internet Protocol leads the list of the ten most dynamic industries with revenue in 2010 of near $12.5 billion dollars, growth 2000 - 2010 of 194% and forecast growth 2010 - 2016 of 17.6% .
