Intec (News - Alert), a leading provider of Business Support System (BSS) solutions, announced the successful deployment of its market-leading solutions for Best Buy, a multinational retailer of technology and entertainment products and services.

The Intec solution for Best Buy, which is supplied in a managed services model hosted by Intec’s business partner CSC (News - Alert), includes Intec Singl.eView along with Intec’s Inter-mediatE and Inter-activatE products. The Intec solution supports the retailer’s own mobile broadband offering, Best Buy Connect, launched last month.
Best Buy selected Intec to support its MVNO plans and help the retailer deliver innovative new services to the consumer technology market. Best Buy Connect is an example of one of these offerings, which allows consumers to one-stop-shop for connected solutions by purchasing computers with customizable mobile broadband service plan options.
The selection
Intec recently announced the selection and implementation of its InterconnecT settlement suite of products by Entel PCS, one of the largest mobile service providers in the Chilean market, to streamline its operational processes across its business, thus improving its time to market and revenue as well as visibility and control.
