Big River Telephone Hires New Employees

Big River is excited to announce the hiring of three new employees - Kara Wurtz, Katelyn Wensink and Tim Tettambel. These employees have been hired to help with the Big River Broadband build-out.

The Big River Team as a Data Analyst

Kara Wurtz will assist the Big River Team as a Data Analyst. Wurtz graduated from Creighton University with a Bachelors in Business Administration in 2007. Her eye for detail is expected to be an asset as she analyzes the data and finances associated with the company’s new broadband endeavor.

Katelyn Wensink will join the Big River Team as the Director of Retail Operations. Wensink graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelors in Psychology. Wensink brings eight years of experience in the retail industry, three years in wireless and extensive involvement in community relations. This experience will be an advantage as she will focus on customer experience and satisfaction in order to garner repeat and referral business.

Tim Tettambel will help to lead the Big River Team as the Vice President of New Ventures. Tettambel received his Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri and his Master’s degree in Business from Webster University. Prior to Big River, Tettambel has accumulated over 20 years of experience in the internet, communications and telecommunications industries. His knowledge, customer focus and analytic problem-solving will truly benefit him in his role in Big River’s broadband operations. The strong background and wealth of knowledge found in Big River’s new hires will help to ensure the success of Big River Broadband. "We’re happy to have them be a part of the Big River Family.
