JSE-listed Gijima has bought the local BMC Business Service Management business from African Legend Indigo for an undisclosed amount.

The deal boosts Gijima's client base locally and into Africa, as it will add customers in the financial services industry, commercial industry, telecommunications, and governments across African countries just as Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Tanzania, Ghana, Cameroon, Botswana, Namibia, Mauritius, Kenya and Yemen.
BMC, based in Houston, US, provides business service management software and cloud computing research. Its customers include 96% of the Forbes Global 100 and 81% of Fortune 500 companies.
