Jim Makofske of Fresno City College's business division has passed the Federal Communication Commission's general radiotelephone operator license, formerly called the first class license. This license enables him to install, operate and maintain commercial transmitters, receivers and radar units in afloat, airborne and land-based configurations.
Physician assistant at the Cutler/Orosi health center
Benjamin Bradley has joined Family HealthCare Network as a physician assistant at the Cutler/Orosi health center. He completed the master of science physician assistant studies program at the University of Utah.
HealthCare California has been designated a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small business by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The national program assists veteran-owned businesses.
