Bolingbrook's EDC Technology, Atom AMPD

Bolingbrook, IL-based EDC Research and Atom AMPD, LLC, which is headquartered in Volo, IL, with offices in Miami; Fresno, Salinas and Danville, Calif., has entered into a co-branding agreement. Atom AMPD now powers EDC's new KeyIT™ application, which offers a robust networking, security, wireless and telephony/VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) solution to the higher education industry.

Wide array of verticals

EDC's KeyIT™ which is as well available for organizations of any size across a wide array of verticals, becomes Atom AMPD's offering for the higher education industry. KeyIT™ expands EDC's comprehensive suite of innovation solutions and services including administrative software for colleges, project portfolio management, digital video asset management, digital communications platforms and IT infrastructure support.

"KeyIT™ provides scalable networking, security, wireless and telephony/VoIP solutions in a single software application. This enables higher education managers to replace multi-box applications that are expensive to license and maintain," says EDC Innovation CEO, Jay Sebben. "Notable KeyIT™ benefits include dramatically reduced costs, swift installation and the ability to cost-effectively reduce your hardware footprint.

"Our agreement with EDC Innovation expands Atom AMPD's product offerings into higher education, which is a promising market for us. KeyIT's™ ability to provide enterprise-level communications solutions complements our DS Secure Kwick Key™, which is a portable software installation key directed at the K-12 market," said Chris Beyne, Business Development Director for Atom AMPD. "The flexible licensing agreement includes a two-year base license, which provides a significant savings for the education market."
