Centrify to Show CloudTools Solution for Cloud Server Security in First Live Demo at the Gartner Security & Risk Management Summit
"The Gartner Security & Risk Management Summit attracts an impressive audience of CISOs and security, risk management and business continuity professionals interested in addressing today's complex infrastructure protection and compliance needs, and we are pleased to debut our new CloudTools in its first live demos for attendees there," said David McNeely, director of product management for Centrify. "We are seeing good traction for CloudTools as a way to centrally secure cross-platform servers in the cloud with Active Directory. The solution uniquely enforces privilege-based access via Active Directory Groups, and ensures security best practices to help organizations rapidly adopt cloud computing during mitigating security risks."
Centrify CloudTools are available for free to clients of Centrify Suite and are as well a new component of Centrify Express 2011. Used in conjunction with the Centrify Suite or Centrify Express, Centrify CloudTools enable an "enterprise-out" approach that establishes Active Directory as the center of trust between enterprise and cloud servers, whether private or hosted, to make them as secure and compliant as those in an on-premises data center.
The Gartner Security & Risk Management Summit features four programs focusing on Security, Risk Management and Compliance, Business Continuity Management, and chief information security officer roles to deliver detailed, role-specific content and networking. Each program offers a full agenda of analyst sessions, keynotes, round-table discussions, case studies, workshops and more. Additional information is available at www.gartner.com/us/itsecurity.
