Century 21 to Implement Hosted PBX Telephony Solution
VoIP equipment, all the tangible gear related to VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) from phones to systems to PBX hardware, has quickly distinguished itself as a family of Internet technologies that can deliver voice communications and multimedia sessions in a more efficient manner.
Recently, Century 21 in Ottawa announced that it is now implementing Netcelerate's customized hosted PBX (Private -Automatic- Branch Exchange) telephony solution which makes calls ring simultaneously at three locations until the call is answered. This type of functionality is made possible because of a specific type of VoIP equipment, a VoIP telephone system.
Century 21 has already reaped the benefits from Netcelerate's hosted PBX phone system and private IP network which provides Century 21 with custom call routing, line pooling and three-digit dialing between multiple office locations. Real estate brokers are now accessible via their office extensions even when out of the office.
"Netcelerate was able to customize their Hosted PBX service to meet the needs of our many agents working from multiple locations across the city," said Ralph Shaw of Century 21. "Our new phone system has as well helped our agents become more available and better connected during they travel."
The benefits of the new solution for three years
Century 21 will enjoy the benefits of the new solution for three years. Netcelerate will supply and manage these services using its private IP network and two redundant carrier class data centers.
"Our Hosted PBX system is so then-suited to businesses with multiple locations: they can use three-digit dialing to access all staff members and easily transfer calls across locations," said Jack Hunt, CEO of Netcelerate.
In other VoIP equipment news, VoIP Supply, a leading provider of VoIP equipment and complete solutions, had some good news to share recently – the addition of Ruckus Wireless products that specialize in Wi-Fi for both enterprise and service provider markets.
For those that experience frustration over routing Wi-Fi signals – which can be unreliable due to interference and obstacles – Ruckus Wireless has developed "Smart Wi-Fi" to combat those barriers to a secure wireless network and restore faith in what companies love about Wi-Fi, according to company officials.
