Charter promotes DiGeronimo to SVP

DiGeronimo is tasked with leading the company's corporate strategy, business development, product management, and product development teams. In his new job, he is as well is accountable for crafting the organization's strategic direction, forming partnerships, developing new products, and managing all of Charter's existing products to achieve long-term growth and the best experience for clients, according to Charter.

DiGeronimo came to Charter from Level 3 Communications where he had served as vice president and general manager of cable markets. In this role, he was responsible for the cable vertical P&L, customer lifecycle management, strategic alliance development, management of complex transactions, and the establishment of product requirements for Level 3's cable clients.

He as well held multiple leadership roles in VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) product management, corporate finance, product strategy and corporate development while his eight-year stint at Level 3.

Prior to joining Level 3, DiGeronimo worked in investment banking for Bear Stearns, focusing on innovation equity offerings and M&A.

DiGeronimo reports to Don Detampel, who on Tuesday was promoted to executive vice president, innovation and president, commercial services.

Also on Tuesday, Charter announced that chief innovation officer and executive vice president Marwan Fawaz would leave the company on March 25 and that former Cox Communications chief innovation officer Chris Bowick will serve as Charter's interim CTO.
