Cisco announces plans to buy AXIOSS Software Assets

Cisco's purchase of AXIOSS will help them furthermore expand their network and service management innovation to help make it simpler for service providers to offer video, data, mobile solution, and cloud services to customers.

Jesper Andersen, senior vice president and general manager, Network Management Research Group, Cisco said in a statement, that more users are going mobile and connecting to the Internet, which could drive an "explosive growth in IP-based networks."
