Cisco ships dual-band Wireless-N bridge
The WES610N offers four Ethernet ports and the ability to connect itself to an existing Wireless-N network, either on a 5Ghz or 2.4Ghz band. This means you can connect up to four nonwireless Ethernet-ready devices to an existing wireless network. The device is designed for home entertainment products, just as TV set-top boxes, game consoles, and other devices that tend to come without built-in wireless adapters.
The new Linksys bridge features a wireless connection up to 300Mbps, multiple antennas for better range and quality of service to prioritize traffic for different applications, just as video streaming, gaming, and VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol). It as well supports WPA2 Security and has a Wi-Fi Protected Setup button for easy pairing with a wireless router. Cisco says it works best with routers in its E series, just as the Linksys E4200 and the Linksys E3200, however will work with any other Wireless-N router.
