Cloud Communications Leader 4PSA's VoipNow Celebrates Five Years of Success
Released on May 30, 2006, VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol)Now offers outstanding management features, easy deployment, and modest hardware requirements that included virtualization support, according to company officials.
VoipNow was the first VoIP platform designed for small and medium service providers. It allows service providers to access new business opportunities and increase the ARPU through value-added communication services.
"These past five years have been actually exciting! We are honored that VoipNow has become a leading choice for service providers that want to deliver Unified Communications to businesses on a cloud based environment," said Bogdan Carstoiu, 4PSA’s CEO, in a statement.
In its first release, VoipNow included an impressive array of features like call routing, call queues, dynamic conferencing, voicemail, call recording, call transfers, call waiting, call cascading, call forwarding and call filtering.
The most recent VoipNow
The most recent VoipNow, version 2.5.2, features an advanced set of features including a new provisioning system, integration with many cloud services, voice, video, instant messaging, faxing, presence, business and operations automation.
The solution currently includes VoipNow Professional, the leading UC software solution and VoipNow Automation, a business and operations solution for automating the most important business flows
The industry
VoipNow has won several recognitions from the industry. Of late, the VoipNow has earned the Unified Communications Magazine’s 2010 Product of the Year Award and the INTERNET TELEPHONY Magazine’s 13th annual Product of the Year Award.
"We have made it our goal to constantly improve our solution to address the real needs of our clients," Carstoiu added. "We will continue to raise the bar with the upcoming developments on the VoipNow Platform that will dramatically improve the way people communicate, work and have fun using the "infinite" cloud resources."
Earlier in March 4PSA announced the new, fully featured VoipNow Cloud Instance service, a low-cost, flexible turn-key service that offers several advantages due to the tight integration between hardware and software resources.
