
Cloud funds used as bait
Small and medium enterprises in Thailand can look forward to funds worth 200 000 to 400 000 baht to adopt cloud computing, according to the deputy director general and CIO, department of industrial promotion, says Future Gov.
Veerapol Srilert, deputy director general and CIO, department of industrial promotion, ministry of industry, said to Future Gov Asia Pacific: “We want to promote the use of cloud computing to them because it helps solve many problems.”
“With cloud computing, the IT investment cost is low because there is no need to invest in a server and the enterprise resource planning solutions or applications can all be hosted on the cloud.”
