
Conference on computing, communication
ERODE: A three-day conference on Communication and Computational Intelligence scheduled to be held at Kongu Engineering College from December 27 to 29 will discuss the advancements in different areas of computing and communication technologies.
The conference
The conference, organised by the School of Communication and Computer Sciences and School of Computer Innovation and Applications, has attracted over 400 technology papers from academicians and students from various institutes in India and abroad. Of them, over 120 papers would be presented while the conference, College Principal S. Kuppuswami told media persons.
The focus areas of the conference are Advanced networks, communication and embedded systems, computational intelligence, advanced computing including cloud computing and quantum computing, information systems and security, and Internet technologies.
Resource persons from reputed institutions in Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, Canada and Singpore would deliver lectures and conduct discussions. “This would provide a great possibility for the faculty members and students in the college and other institutes in the country to learn advanced developments in computing from the experts,” College Correspondent R.K. Viswanathan said.
