
CrispApp releases Facebook Messenger
Social networking aficionados on Facebook will nevertheless be able to talk their hearts out with family and friends. That's because CrispApp has recently unveiled Facebook Messenger, which is a voice chat application aimed at extending Facebook's communications functionality for iPhone or iPod touch users.
The Facebook chat experience
Developed particularly to improve the Facebook chat experience, Facebook Messenger enables users to make VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) calls and send texts for free to their Facebook friends wherever they may be. The app boasts of an easy-to-use interface with full multi-tasking support.
Its various additional features include the ability to send pictures from the iPhone album or camera, view a friend's wall, browse message history and utilize emoticons. Users can get replies instantly with Apple push notifications and even set up sound notifications from within the app.
