Easing Integration Challenges for Users

Snom research, a provider of IP communications and VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) Enabler solutions for the enterprise and small business market, introduced new products at Enterprise Connect in Orlando, Florida.

Much like VoIP Enabler Phybridge, snom is one of the many companies that can help small to midsized businesses ditch their expensive TDM PBX (Private -Automatic- Branch Exchange)s with an in every way VoIP-based infrastructure.

Snom in the past has elected to offer a software version of the VoIP server that can run on any properly configured Intel-based server, says David Berlind ofInformationWeek.

Additionally, for users wanting a bit of mobility, snom was as well showing off the new M3 DECT-based cordless phone. DECT is a wireless innovation found in a lot of residential cordless phones and supposedly offers better sound clarity over longer distances.

Recently, TMC reported snom research’s release of snom ONE plus, a new hardware-based version of the company’s awarding winning snom ONE IP PBX.

"The snom One plus offers VARs a total solution for the easy and efficient deployment of IP communications at a price point that provides value for their SMB clients," said Mike Storella, COO for snom. "By offering a fully integrated system including hardware, full featured IP PBX software and a full suite of IP phones and endpoints, VARs can accelerate installation and focus on building their own businesses."
