
ENSPERT showed off its Android-based 'Tablet Home' at CES 2011
LAS VEGAS – To augment all the Android-based tablets and gadgets released at the recently-concluded Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, media convergence specialists ENSPERT has come up with a device to strengthen home networking via their new concept of a ‘Tablet Home.’
It is considered a smart home device with strengthened functions for home networking and media convergence based on monitoring and controlling of various devices including home appliances, sharing of media and the mounted smart-grid function.
Other features include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. It as well has smart networking functions that support Digital Living Network Alliance phones and gadgets.
N-Screen platform
Coming equipped with an N-Screen platform, the device allows for the transferring and sharing of media of various technological gadgets just as smartphones, tablets and smart TV’s through convergence and cloud computing.
Powered by a 1GHz CPU, the home hub device as well allows for Android-based VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) video calls and Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications type wireless handsets networking.
