EPA Recognizes Datapipe with a Green Power Leadership Award

The Environmental Protection Agency has chosen Datapipe as one of ten organizations nationwide to receive a Green Power Leadership Award for its green power purchase. The annual awards recognize the country's leading green power users for their commitment and contribution to advance the development of the nation's voluntary green power market. The EPA presented the award to Datapipe, a global provider of managed services and infrastructure for outsourced IT and cloud computing, at an event held in conjunction with the 2011 Renewable Energy Markets Conference in San Francisco, Calif., on November 16, 2011.

The development of new renewable energy sources

"EPA's Green Power Leadership Award winners are driving the development of new renewable energy sources and demonstrating that green power makes good environmental and business sense," said Gina McCarthy, assistant administrator for the EPA. "We applaud Datapipe's efforts and hope that other organizations follow their lead."
