Everything Channel's CRN Announces 'Need To Know' Security List / New monthly feature highlights key

Everything Channel, a UBM company, today announced a new monthly feature designed to highlight the key players in a particular research market. Each "Need To Know" list will identify a growing research segment and recognize top VARs and vendors that specialize in that area. The monthly list will provide CRN readers with a snapshot of the most important channel chiefs, emerging companies and potential competitors in each space. January's inaugural "Need To Know" list features the key players in the rapidly growing security market.

The new "Need To Know" feature enables VARs to quickly identify who they need to contact should they want engage in a specific innovation market. The list features both vendors and VARs. Vendor selection is based on nominations from solution providers and editors and is judged based on channel influence, effectiveness and visibility as so then as business and sales impact. VAR selection is based on the number of certifications and innovation-specific expertise each VAR has in a market segment.
