Facebook video chat revealed

Facebook and Skype have taking everything into account got official with their new video chat feature for the social network. Announced by Mark Zuckerberg, the new service means you can now natter with your Skype and Facebook buddies via the social network.

The VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) giant, recently acquired by Microsoft, reckons it couldn’t be easier to get going. You can make video calls directly from Facebook Chat, as long as that feature is set to ‘online’. Alternatively, hit up a pal’s profile and use the ‘call’ icon in the top right hand corner.
