
Fring closes C round of financing
Fring, the company behind the popular mobile VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) app, announced that it has closed C-round of financing. The company’s current investors participated, including North Bridge Venture Capital, Pitango Venture Capital and Veritas Venture Partners. Fring will use the new money to additionally invest in research and bring its video communication suite to new devices.
Commenting on the news, Fring’s Co-Founder & CEO Avi Shechter said: “With the additional fuel injection from our visionary industry investors, should the contingency arise to our independent revenue streams, fring will re-double the rate at which we make fun, new ways we can all communicate, across any mobile platform.”
