Genesis Networks announces partnership with Certes Networks

Genesis Networks, a locally-based provider of network and managed services, has entered into a reseller partnership with Certes Networks, a leading encryption service company for high performance networks.

The terms of the agreement

Under the terms of the agreement, Pittsburg-based Certes Networks will make its multi-layer encryption software available as part of Genesis Networks' managed services portfolio.

"Our partnership with Certes Networks keeps us on the cutting edge of security research and strengthens our security product portfolio," says Rick Fitzgerald, president of Genesis Network Integration Services. "The new managed encryption service allows us to continue to offer our clients a full turn-key solution to support their network and protect their business."

Genesis was recently ranked as the seventh largest private company in San Antonio by the San Antonio Business Journal. The company, which reported earnings of $527 million in 2010, currently has more than 700 employees nationwide with 80 based at its headquarters in the Alamo City.

Founded by James Goodman in 2001, Genesis provides a host of support services for its customers, including custom software development and installation, and staging of wireless local area networks and Voice over Internet Protocol telephony systems. It as well provides project management, consulting and staff augmentation services.
