HTC Omega first press shot leaked
We’ve been telling you about the HTC Omega, the Taiwanese company’s upcoming Windows Phone 7 device that will most likely be unveiled at HTC’s September event. If you recall, we’re talking about a smartphone with a 3.8-inch S-LCD WVGA touchscreen, 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 SoC, 8-megapixel camera with flash on the back, and 512MB of RAM.
The first press photo we got
Now we’re glad to show you the first press photo we got, compliments to PocketNow and its ninjas. As you can see, there’s a front-facing camera on this baby and something tells us the Omega will support Skype video calls. Heck even if that doesn’t happen at launch and considering Microsoft now owns the VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) company, we’re sure we won’t have to wait for too long to see the Redmond giant promoting out-of-box Skype experience as one of the key selling points of its mobile platform. We’ll keep following all the news and let you know as shortly as we hear something interesting. Stay tuned, k?
Dusan has been using smartphones since their introduction and is now following the latest trends in the industry. The "convergence" is what he's most excited about, and writing about it is the then and there logical thing to do. He thinks that using a smartphone is what everyone who cares about their time should do. Should the contingency arise to his interests in mobile phones, Dusan as well loves to experiment with the latest web and mobile 2.0 services. The idea of accessing and managing your information from any device no matter where you are simply amazes him. Whether it's an online to-do list, note taking service or a video sharing social network, he's there to try it out. He admits although, he's after all searching for the ultimate web-based organizational tool, which "sings" perfectly with the mobile PIM application. Dusan used to run SymbianWatch.com which later became part of IntoMobile. He lives in Serbia, South-East Europe, from where he edits the site on a daily basis.
