ICloud Communications sues Apple over trademark
Just 'cause you put an 'i' in front of it, doesn't mean you own it.iPod, iPhone, iPadwe all know how it works. As shortly as you slap an 'i" on it, it screams "Apple product."
In its suit, iCloud Communications said, "The goods and services with which Apple intends to use the 'iCloud' trademark are identical to or closely related to the goods and services that have been offered by iCloud Communications in accordance with the iCloud Marks since its formation in 2005."
Apple doesn't have much of a case since this has become a pattern for the computer giant. The company has gone to court earlier with The Beatles, McIntosh, and Mighty Mouse over trademark infringement.
