InformationWeek Announces New Editor In Chief

InformationWeek, the leading IT brand focused on the business value of innovation, today announced Laurianne McLaughlin as editor in chief of InformationWeek.com.  In her new role, McLaughlin will shape the site's editorial strategy and direction, as then as oversee day-to-day coverage.  McLaughlin was most recently at CIO.com as managing editor.  

McLaughlin comes to InformationWeek.com more than 18 years in journalism. Afterwards joining CIO Magazine in 2006 as innovation editor, Laurianne did a mix of print and online work earlier becoming senior news editor for CIO.com in 2009. Her work at CIO.com has won multiple ASBPE awards, including ASBPE's 2010 B2B Web Site of the year award. Previously joining CIO.com, she served as a senior editor, online for Business 2.0 and as a senior editor for IDG's PC World, the leading research magazine for consumers.
