In an effort to simplify cloud adoption for small to medium sized businesses in the United Kingdom market, some of the biggest players in the cloud ecosystem are joining forces.

Today, cloud computing leader Backbone Connect announced that it has teamed with Infrastructure as a Service enabler Hexagrid, Link47 and Compare the Cloud. Just a few weeks ago, Hexagrid announced that Link47 and Compare the Cloud teamed with the company to facilitate the channel delivery of low cost, high quality cloud computing solutions to the SMB market.

Over the past five years, Backbone Connect has established itself as a leading colocation provider in London, boasting more than 500 colocation cabinets across seven U.K. data center facilities. The UK-based company offers a wide range of colocation and WAN infrastructure solutions should the contingency arise to discounted colocation, Internet access and MPLS network services for any business building a cloud on Hexagrid’s award-winning VxDatacenter platform.
