Infrastructure as a Service Enabler Hexagrid Making a Name
Targeting the service provider market, the two companies co-engineered the Unovie private cloud, which provides speed-to-market advantages for both solution providers and end-users. Unovie utilizes Boston Quattro and Hexagrid’s Infrastructure as a Service software, Supermicro, bringing five times more data space over traditional computing resources.
The partnership
Thanks to the partnership, business users can remotely customize their cloud environments on highly scalable, secure private cloud infrastructure using Hexagrid’s cloud computing platform and Telx’s interconnection services. Clients are as well able to choose the best carrier with the appropriate latency to meet their needs within Telx’s carrier-dense, SLA-ensured Cloud Connection Centers.
Hexagrid might have less work cut out for it than one may think as Seibel noted that the market quickly appears to be warming up to cloud and starting to believe and trust in the research. People are much more educated, he said, and there’s a trend of people looking at older solutions and now questioning them.
