Interactive Intelligence's CIC 3.0 Receives Certification from JITC

Interactive Intelligence has announced that its all-in-one IP communications software suite, Customer Interaction Center version 3.0, has received certification from the Joint Interoperability Test Command.

The CIC delivers an open, single-platform architecture, IP PBX (Private -Automatic- Branch Exchange) switching and inherent multichannel processing that allows it to deliver comprehensive applications, including interactive voice response, skills-based routing, call recording, unified messaging and more. All of these applications are delivered without the standard cost and complexity that seem to be inherent in multipoint products.

"CIC’s unequalled architecture, particularly its deep integration to Microsoft elements, means reduced integration and simplified management for federal government clients," said Joe Brookman in a statement. Brookman is the CEO of BROOKMAN LLC, a government research services provider that led the Interactive Intelligence certification effort.

In other Interactive Intelligence news, TMCnet recently reported that the company has posted earnings of $47.7 million for the three months ended March 31, 2011, an increase of 36 percent from $35.0 million in the first quarter of 2010.
