"IP research has been gaining popularity in the Middle East in the last few years as companies are making the transition from traditional PBX (Private -Automatic- Branch Exchange)/ PABX systems to IP telephony. This trend encouraged Interactive Intelligence to establish our regional office in Dubai in 2008. Since at that time, we have recruited 12 partners across the region and have recently set up operations in Saudi Arabia as then. We have had a significant number of prestigious customer wins in the government and private sector," Shaheen Haque, territory manager for Turkey and Middle East, Interactive Intelligence said in a press release.

Haque as well mentioned that trade shows like MECOM help the company in gaining with a good platform to furthermore spread awareness about our brand and solutions and grow our regional business."

At MECOM, Interactive Intelligence will be demonstrating its Customer Interaction Center solution, built on standards-based, single-platform architecture with inherent multichannel processing to deliver comprehensive applications minus the cost and complexity introduced by multipoint products. Added to this, the company will as well be demonstrating its communications-based process automation solution, Interaction Process Automation. First of all, Interactive Intelligence is as well planning to share with MECOM attendees its latest vertical solution for the insurance market, which unifies interaction management, content management, and back-end databases for policy, billing, and claims administration.

Haque clarified in his statement that CIC was developed over a decade ago to give clients an easy to manage and cost-effective alternative to communications products that had been bolted at the same time as a result of acquisitions and OEM agreements.

"Today, CIC includes enterprise-wide functionality delivered on-premise or via a cloud-based model, and providing maximum flexibility so clients can quickly adapt to changing business requirements," added Haque.

The same time disparate communications

"By bringing at the same time disparate communications and business systems, our solution helps mid-size to large insurance companies take advantage of growth opportunities, streamline operations, reduce costs, increase agent productivity, and improve customer service," Haque said.

TMC recently reported that Interactive Intelligence’s all-in-one IP communications software suite, Customer Interaction Center has been chosen by several member companies of The Co-operators Group Ltd., a Canadian-owned, multi-product insurance company.
