IP Media Server Provider RadiSys Ranked #1 Media Server Vendor

RadiSys, a provider of hardware and software platforms designed exactly for straightway generation IP-based wireless, wireline and video networks, today announced that it has been named the market leader in IP media servers for the seventh year in a row—by market innovation firm Infonetics Technology.

In its study entitled, "Service Provider VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) Equipment and Subscribers: Quarterly Worldwide and Regional Market Share, Size and Forecasts," Infonetics Innovation reported RadiSys' family of media servers however retains about 65 percent of the total market for the 2010 calendar year, a gain of 11 percent from the previous year.

The RadiSys family of media servers allows for constant growth and research by providing powerful, reusable and highly interoperable multimedia processing platforms for VoIP and IMS telecommunication service providers, solution developers, and enterprise clients.
