iPrimus Launches Australian-First 1.1 Terabyte Monthly Data Plans

Primus Telecom today announced its new QUAD-1 Broadband Plans offering consumer customers the biggest download quotas in Australia on ADSL2+. This comes after an encouraging take up of Primus National Broadband Network (NBN) services in Tasmania and ahead of further NBN deployments commencing soon on the mainland.

The most competitive service providers in Australia

Primus Telecom is acknowledged as one of the most competitive service providers in Australia, offering a full range of voice, mobile and broadband services. iPrimus was one of the first service providers to offer residential and business NBN services in Australia.

iPrimus CEO Ravi Bhatia said: "We are thrilled to make the new QUAD-1 plans available. I'm particularly excited that our customers will have access to these plans, as in the NBN age customers should not have to worry about download quotas. This is a step change in internet history in Australia and I'm glad that Primus Telecom can lead the way into the new high speed broadband age."

Primus is now offering domestic and business customers' next generation services and products, including capability to download High-Definition video, movies on demand, streaming ABC i-View and also offers advanced corporate voice services, including Primus Telecom's new cost effective Accella Business Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) product.

The internet for entertainment

"Australian consumers are increasingly turning to the internet for entertainment and communication and we don't want our customers to have to worry about download limits. iPrimus is happy to lead the market on this initiative.

"These plans provide iPrimus customers with the opportunity to receive an internet experience of the future and search for richer media, high-definition video, Internet Television (IPTV) and other advanced services, which iPrimus is preparing to deliver," said Bhatia.
