
Jazz Fest Club Passes on sale today with new ticketing system
"We've done this to take control of our business," he says. "It's more reliable, cutting-edge innovation. You print it, we scan it; it's all cloud based. We've absolutely investigated this. It's foolproof and fairer to everyone involved."
Patrons can print out their tickets on their home computer, eliminating the problem of misplaced passes bought months in advance. Or festival-goers can take a photo of their e-ticket with their smart phone; either way, scanners on site at the festival will register the bar code, you'll be handed the familiar laminated Club Pass, and off you go to nine days of music in the East End District.
