Kerio Adds Enhancements to Control 7.2 Security Solution
Internet security provider Kerio Technologies’ latest version of its Unified Threat Management firewall appliance, the Kerio Control 7.2, reportedly configures and fine-tunes quality of service and bandwidth management for critical applications like VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol), just in case to limiting the tax that applications just as YouTube videos and file transfers put on networks.
Targeted at SMBs, Control 7.2 provides administrators to prioritize important data packets, during also keeping lower-priority applications from slowing down network performance.
This latest version as well includes: QoS management integrated in a Web-based interface, Apple open directory, network traffic statistics and reporting and VoIP traffic readiness, according to a release.
The Kerio Control UTM is available in a wide range of form factors including a hardware firewall appliance, bootable ISO software appliance, virtual appliance for VMware or Parallels, or Windows Server software.
