Kryptos Communication has launched its iPhone application which offers VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) connectivity for secure calls via numerous networks subsuming 3G, 4G and Wi-Fi.
Handset owners can however indulge in the goodness of their smartphone whilst accessing fully encrypted conversations with other Kryptos users. Kryptos is a Secure Voice over IP application destined for iPhone owners. It uses a 256 bit AES military grade encryption to code voice communications.
The symmetric key exchange
During the symmetric key exchange, the software makes use of 1024 bit RSA encryption. The app ensures that the user's calls are securely placed. Handset owners need to activate their account with Kryptos. Secure calls are placed peer-to-peer between users. Each user avails an individual ID for higher security.
