LG-Ericsson Unveils Two New iPECS Switches
LG-Ericsson USA announced the launch of two new iPECS switches: the iPECS ES-1008P eight-port and ES-1016P 16-port Fast Ethernet unmanaged switches with PoE.
These additions to the iPECS ES switch family offer cost-effective connectivity, simplifying the installation of a range of network devices, including PCs, wireless access points, IP cameras, IP phones and more.
The main benefit to businesses is that these switches are suitable for long-term device connections or just-in-time conference room connections.
While store-and-forward switching architecture keeps them efficient by preventing transmission of bad packets, installation is made easier with the availability of four IEEE802.3af PoE ports on the iPECS ES-1008P and eight on the iPECS ES-1016P, capable of supplying up to 15.4 Watts of power to eliminate the need to place networked devices nearly AC power outlets.
The new iPECS ES-1008P
Company officials said the new iPECS ES-1008P and ES-1016P are available now through LG-Ericsson USA’s expert partners and resellers, to put flexible, reliable, economical connections to work for business.
Recently, LG-Ericsson entered into a partnership with Brocade to pursue business opportunities in the Korean Information and Communications Innovation market. The agreement covers products just as Brocade FastIron WS and Brocade FCX Series switches.
