
Macquarie Telecom pens NBN deal
Macquarie Telecom has become the latest telco to sign a trial agreement with on the National Broadband Network wholesaler, NBN Co, beginning a program to take advantage of the network once it becomes operational.
The trial agreement as well requires Macquarie to redefine its range of internet and data services to suit the new business climate created by the NBN, with the telco conducting on-board service testing and technical systems assessments in the straightway few months.
"Access to faster broadband will no doubt boost business productivity, allowing for a far greater uptake of VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol), network and Cloud applications than ever earlier," he said.

Earlier this month, NetComm penned a deal with NBN Co, enabling Australians in rural and regional areas to be connected to the NBN Co's 2.3Ghz LTE (Long Term Evolution, latest standard in the mobile network technology) fixed-wireless broadband network .
