Make Quick VoiP International Calls

If you're a jetsetter...a real jetsetter, making international calls is a high priority. Perhaps a global phone or a phone that lets you swap out SIM cards all willy-nilly is not in the cards for you right now. The Time to Call app for iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad lets users make low-cost international calls on their current device with no fuss. Sure, Vonage already has an iOS app on the market, however it's tied to your current Vonage account and it comes with a price tag of 25 bucks per month to make local and international calls to select countries.

The Time to Call app

With the Time to Call app, you don't need a Vonage account and you have a choice of up to 100 countries for as little as 2 bucks a call. Calls to 90 more countries can be made for a higher cost of up to 10 bucks. Prices are the same whether you're calling another mobile device, or calling a old-school landline phone and calls can be made over Wifi or 3G.

Time to Call skips the Vonage account by allowing users to pay for calls using their iTunes account. That way, you can just make the call and pay with your credit card already on file with Apple. The catch to Time to Call is that you can make calls for up to 15 minutes at a time...So if you want to use the app, you will have to keep it short, close that deal and get off the phone.
