MegaPath Will Now Offer Hosted VoIP

MegaPath, a provider of managed data, voice and security solutions, recently revealed that it would now be offering hosted VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) and will be launching a new product designed to be seamlessly integrated with voice. MegaPath is as well a provider of TBI, a large master agency that manages partners, or subagents to sell carrier’s products.

The nearly future

For companies that are already utilizing MegaPath’s Integrated Voice or plan to in the nearly future, the hosted VoIP has multiple features that include remote worker, find me/follow me, simultaneous ring, auto attendant and hunt groups. Any Integrated Voice customer who already uses an online VoIP network can have access to these functionalities, during the hosted approach makes premise-based servers something of the past as they are no longer a necessity.

In addition, MegaPath has as well recently re-priced its eight- and 16-integrated line/trunk service with T1 access, though the new tiers were not made public, according to a press release. The release added that the bundles can either work with single or bonded T1s, in order to provide various options for calling including an unlimited package and metered long-distance.

In related news, TMCnet reported that MegaPath has chosen Converged Network Services Group, a telecommunications consultancy and master agency, as its Newcomer Partner of the Year for 2010 at its annual Partner awards.
