More Enterprises Looking to Invest in Network-Centric Managed Services

Most enterprises, clearly, seek ways to contain costs and limit spending. One way of accomplishing this is to invest in network-centric managed services. And there is a willingness to spend more money on managed services, which "should serve as a wake-up call for operators and vendors," according to a new report.

?The report, "Managed Services for Enterprises: Telco Operators and Vendors Capitalize on the Need of Businesses to Focus," examines the network-centric managed services offered by operators and research vendors in areas like network security, data center, videoconferencing, and telepresence to enterprises.

"A significant number of enterprises are willing to spend large portions of their IT budgets – between 10 percent and 20 percent – on network-centric managed services, as operators and vendors continue to prove the value and reliability of their offerings," says Denise Culver, Analyst at Large at Pyramid.

Should the contingency arise, the company has two different variants of a carrier grade IP Soft Switch- ‘iTel Switch Plus Gold’ and ‘iTel Switch Plus Pro’ specially developed for small to medium and large IP carriers. REVE Systems as well has a product called ‘iTel MVNO Smart’ which is dedicated to MVNOs.
