NBN connects test customers in Willunga

Hot off the heels of the launch in Armidale last month, Willunga looks set to get its first National Broadband Network trial customer on Monday.

Raaj Menon, a 49-year-old South Australian research distributor and self-confessed "digital dreamer" will be the first connected in the South Australian first release site on 27 June, he revealed on his blog before this week.

Number of speed tests using an AVM Fritz!Boz router

Menon will be conducting a number of speed tests using an AVM Fritz!Boz router, testing Voice over IP and video, among other things.

NBN Co confirmed to ZDNet Australia that it had begun connecting clients to test the network, nevertheless was not but ready to formally switch on the service in Willunga.
