NetSuite Reports $6.9 Million Loss

NetSuite Inc. on Thursday reported a fiscal first-quarter loss of $6.9 million, or 10 cents a share, on revenue of $61 million. While the year-ago period, NetSuite lost $7 million, or 11 cents a share, on $49.7 million in sales. Excluding one-time items, the cloud-based business-computing company would have earned $3.9 million, or 5 cents a share. Analysts surveyed by FactSet Innovation had forecast NetSuite to earn 4 cents a share on $60 million in revenue.
