netTALK.COM, INC., a publicly traded competitive local exchange carrier company dedicated to converging superior communications solutions, launched the netTALK Smartphone Application.

The newly introduced free, Smartphone application is available now at netTALK.com/smartphone and at the iTunes App Store. It is compatible with iPhone (News - Alert), iPad, iPod touch, Android, Blackberry and Windows Mobile and allows users to make free calls to the U.S. and Canada, via 3G, Wi-Fi, or EDGE networks, without using valuable monthly cell phone minutes. Low cost international calling is coming soon.
Beta features of the application include free calls to the U.S. and Canada and connectivity through 3G, Wi-Fi, and EDGE networks. The application can also record conversations and import contacts from your Smartphone’s personal phone book.
The netTALK Smartphone Application allows users to receive customized support by dialing #611 or dialing #2663 for free conference calling bridge service. Users are also provided with free 411 directory assistance and can add and organize their favorite contacts.
