New T, L, and W series models announced

Sandy Bridge has been official for some time, so it’s time for some new business notebooks. Today Lenovo is announcing six updated ThinkPads: three new T series models, two L series models, and a single W series mobile workstation. The change is looking like a standard refresh for all models involved, with shiny new graphics and processors, now Lenovo made sure to put some other changes in as so then. The highlights include:

The six new “ThinkPad classic” models include the ThinkPad T420s, T420, T520, L420, L520, and the W520. The first three will refresh the ThinkPad’s best-selling enterprise notebook with a lightweight 14-inch model, a standard 14-inch model, and a 15-incher. The L series is for mainstream business notebooks and gets new 14- and 15-inch models, during the W520 is a 15-inch ISV-certified mobile workstation.
