NIKSUN Wins Product Quality Award for Network Monitoring Technology
According to Frost & Sullivan, network traffic is becoming more disintegrated in nature. The increase in data and multimedia traffic volume demands high bandwidth. To manage this requirement, providers need to have in-depth awareness of network traffic to optimize management solutions and applications in order to meet end user requirements.
Frost & Sullivan identifies that a key challenge in network performance monitoring for networks is the ability to capture, organize, and analyze all data packets continually in real-time and for later use.
"With a highly fragmented network performance monitoring market, NIKSUN's NetVCR stood out among competing products in best practices criteria for managing today's demanding service delivery environments," said Mariano Kimbara, innovation analyst for Frost & Sullivan, in a statement.
"We selected NIKSUN NetVCR because of its differentiated leadership in performance, design, and usability," Kimbara added. "The NIKSUN technology as well demonstrates exceptional vision in scalability that enterprises and service providers need."
The solution captures
The solution captures, time-stamps and indexes full-packets for zero loss monitoring of enterprise, carrier, and ISP networks and services. It analyzes each packet in real-time at line speed and alerts users of service interruptions or network/application slowdowns as in the near future as they occur.
"We are pleased and honored to accept Frost & Sullivan's prestigious award for NIKSUN NetVCR product," said Parag Pruthi, founder, CEO, and fhairman for NIKSUN, in a statement. "As today's bandwidth increases exponentially, NIKSUN NetVCR easily scales to meet that increasing demand and provide seamless control over your network."
"Our continued investment in R&D and commitment to our clients allows NIKSUN to offer a scalable architecture in both network monitoring and security surveillance without having to 'rip and replace' existing systems," Pruthi added.
