Office 365 to launch on June 28th

The new suite is a fully hosted service that companies can buy into offering online versions of their Word, Excel and Powerpoint apps along with a full copy of Office 2010 for desktop computers.  It as well offers hosted Exchange email and a Sharepoint intranet-style workspace.  Just in case to this it offers Lync, the company’s new communications platform that integrates IP telephony, messaging and VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol).

Office 365 is the straightway generation of Microsoft’s Business Productivity Online Suite, Live@Edu and Office Live Small Business services and is aimed at providing a comprehensive and streamlined set of services for business.
