It is important to note that at present, the Carbon County Reverse 911 system can only make calls to landlines, and does not support automatic calls to cell phones and Internet telephone, if not known as Voice Over Internet Protocol. Those who do not use landlines for telephone communications must manually register their cell phone or Internet telephone number with Carbon County in order to receive Reverse 911 calls. They can do so by calling the Carbon County Disaster Coordination hotline at 446-1038.
