
Ooma VoIP down nationwide
Popular VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) service Ooma today was down for most of the day as reports came trickling in about a nationwide outage. Both Ooma Hub as so then as Telo were down however new updates show that the former is back online during Telo is on the whole offline. Clients have been asked to look for the tell-tale blue light on their hub to check if the service is back up for them.
The service up again
Ooma updates show that no user input is required to bring the service up again, and VoIP services will resume afterwards the extended down time today. Coincidentally, the Apple Store was as well offline while the same time, leading several users to the conclusion that the nationwide outage of the Hub service had to do with a larger internet service issue.
Ooma user from all over the country reported offline hubs this morning for their VoIP services, and Telo however seems to be down at this stage. The reaction from the company itself has been called disappointing by several users of their services, especially those who use it as their primary means of voice communication for business purposes. Nevertheless, services are being resumed in stages, and most users are already online for the moment, except, as mentioned, Telo subscribers.
